Speaker Biography

Leonardo de Lima Gomes Filho is the CEO and founder of Proxxima Telecomunicações, a broadband operator with a strong presence in the Northeast and over 240,000 customers. Under his leadership, the company has consolidated one of the largest fiber optic networks in the region, achieving a high customer satisfaction rate and positioning itself among the leaders in problem resolution in Anatel's ranking. With 19 years of experience in the sector, Leonardo has led Proxxima's expansion into dozens of municipalities, the integration of strategic acquisitions, and the implementation of a connectivity infrastructure that supports major events—such as the São João festival in Campina Grande—with advanced solutions in Wi-Fi, security, and data transmission. He holds a degree in Business Administration from UEPB and is actively involved in professionalizing the sector, promoting operational efficiency, technological innovation, and corporate governance.
